Suyun bolluğunun tüm ovaları yeşile dödürdüğü Yeşil Gönen diye bilinen, toprağın gücünden lezzet alan doğal tadların anayurdu, termal suyunun şifa dağıttığı Gönen, Kaz Dağları'nın eteklerinde ovalar ve tepelerden oluşan alanda verimli topraklara sahip havzada buluduğundan, oradan gelen yöresel lezzetler gerçekten farklı tattadır.
Known as Green Gönen, where "milk and honey" of water turning all fields into green, the homeland of local tastes impetus because of the soil, thermal water serving health - as Gönen is located on the rich fields and hills of the skirts of Kaz Mountains, local products are in deed really different in taste.
